It is a pub which can be called ‘local’ as it is usually full of regular clientele. However, it is increasingly visited by foreigners that have come to live in Carlow. The venue owes part of its popularity to rock and metal music that is often played there (either from a jukebox or by a DJ) as well as a pool table in the center of a bigger room at the back of the premises.

The venue has no place assigned to smokers.
