Carlow, pub Nancy Whiskeys - Polska Impreza

A ‘Polish party’ was organised in Nancy Whiskey’s pub
(in the Haymarket) last Tuesday, 25th April.  The pub
was selling inexpensive Polish beer and there was a buffet full of traditional Polish dishes. The only thing which left much to be desired was the music. Except for Maryla Rodowicz (a Polish singer) there were hardly any contemporary songs, especially rock songs. Despite this tiny inconvenience, however, it can be well said that the service lived up to the customers’ expectations. Special sheets had been prepared for the people to write down suggestions for the future parties that are supposed to be held regularly, every Tuesday.
