Carlow.plSunday soccer matches played on the pitch by the Hacketstown Road might soon become more professional. Amongst the amateur soccer players, some are very good and could compete in one of the international soccer leagues in Ireland. Perhaps, we will be able to have a genuine soccer team with professional outfits, matches and fans. Currently, discussions are being held with a possible sponsor who is interested in the investment and help to set up a Polish team. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for our soccer boys
